CLEVELAND, Ohio - On a soggy Wednesday night, the Cleveland Indians and the CincinnatiReds played their third game of four for the Ohio Cup. This was the first game out of two that will be played in Cleveland, Cincinnati hosting the previous two Monday and Tuesday. Entering tonight's game the Cincinnati Reds sat at 21-24 and the Cleveland Indians had a record of 24-20. The Reds and Indians split the first two Connor McDavid Jersey games of the series at Great American Ball Park. On Monday, the Reds defeated the Indians by a score of 5-1. On Tuesday, the Indians came awaywith the victory, the final score was 8-7. After a 2 hour and 1-minute rain delay, play resumed at 9:50 P.M. EST. Going into the rain delay, the Indians were leading 3-2 over the Reds. With the Indians 4-3 lo s, the team falls to 24-21 on the year and the Reds improve to 22-24. The Indians will be looking to split the Ohio Cup tomorrow. Here's our three takeaways from the Indians 4 Blake Coleman Women Jersey -3 defeat.1.) Is Trevor Bauer turning it around? In Bauer's start this evening, he put in his third consecutive quality start. In Bauer's previous two starts he came away with the victory and also has limited the number of walks allowed. On May 14 against the Minnesota Twins, Bauer pitched 6 innings, gave up 7 hits, gave up 3 earned runs, allowed one homer, didn't walk a batter and struck out 7.Scroll to Continue On May 19 against the Houston Astros, Bauer pitched 5.2 innings, gave up 5 hits, gave up 3 earned runs, allowed 2 home runs, walked one, and struck out 9. In tonight's start, Trevor Bauer pitched 5.1 innings, gave up 4 hits, gave up 2 earned runs, allowed a homer, walked two, and struck out 6. In his last three starts, Bauer has only allowed 3 walks and struck out 22 batters. Bauer was in line for the win once again when Boone Logan came on in relief in the sixth inning, right before the rain delay. In the first inning, Bauer faced 4 batters and struck out two to begin the game.2.) Carlos Santana was SmoothCarlos Santana had a good night on Wednesday. Santana was 3-3 up until the 5th inning before the rain delay. In his first at- Mike Green Youth Jersey bat of the evening, Santana hit a double. In his second at-bat, Santana gave the Indians a 2-0 lead with a two-run homer. In his final at-bat before the rain delay, Santana hit another double which drove in Kipnis. In Santana's previous two games in Cincinnati, he was 1-7 and drove in a RBI. One big moment that Santana did have in Cincy though was when he made a diving catch in right field (yes you read that correctly). No diving catches for Santana tonight thought in Cleveland, just two doubles and a homer. Santana finished the night 3-4 and struck out looking in his final at-bat of the evening in the 8th inning. 3.) Rain Delay.... Two words that an Indians fan has hated ever since Game 7 of the World Series, Rain Delay. You can po sibly even add "replay review" to that list also following tonight's lo s. On the night of Eric Fehr Jersey the replica AL Championship Trophy giveaway, a rain delay had occurred. Things were rolling along at Progre sive Field until the 6th inning. In the top of the 6th inning, the tarp was brought onto the field after one batter stepped up to the plate that inning. This was the first time since Game 7 of the World Series that Indians fans at Progre sive Field had to sit through a rain delay. After a delay of two hours and one minute, play finally resumed at 9:50 P.M. EST. After the Reds were in the clubhouse for about two hours they had to come out and face Indians relief pitcher Andrew Miller. This time around there was a similar result. The Indians came back from the rain delay and after a double play was reviewed that looked like the game was over, the call was overturned. The Reds had runners at the corners with Zack Cozart up to bat and he hit a 2-run single to give them a 4-3 lead heading into the bottom of the 9th. This was the first time this year that the Indians lost a game after holding the lead after 5 innings of play. Tomorrow, the Indians will be playing the final game of the series and will be sending Mike Clevinger to the hill and will be opposed by Tim Adleman. First pitch is scheduled for 6: Brandon Sutter Jersey 10 P.M. EST.
