Being one of Thailand’s Historical and majestic highlights, there are many things to do in Ayutthaya Province, Thailand. The name Ayutthaya derives from the Sanskrit word AyodhyÄ, found in the Ramayana, which means "the invincible city".
Full name Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, the city is one of the central provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) Ang Thong, Lopburi, Saraburi, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Nakhon Pathom and Suphan Buri.
